Benedikt XVI (Joseph Ratzinger), the German pope, will come to Germany and visit Munich, Altötting, Marktl, Regensburg and Freising between September 9th and 14 th this year. This will be an outstanding event not only for the Catholic church in Germany.
The Catholic reform movement "We Are Church", engaged in the reforming process, will accompany the Pope's visit in his home country in a critically-constructive manner by
- open letter to the "Bishop of Rome" and to the German bishops,
- "KirchenVolksBriefe" with questions, requests, wishes and prayers by the people of the Church
- "fact sheets" providing the interested public with information about the Roman-Catholic Church in Germany,
- press releases ,
- protest vigils and other actions in Regensburg www.laienverantwortung-regensburg.de"> and
- arranging contacts to competent interview partners from Germany and abroad.
For arranging interviews, please, do not hesitate to contact us as soon as possible by one of the following addresses of the organisation "We Are Church".
At present the International Movement We Are Church, founded in Rome in 1996, is represented in more than twenty countries on all continents and is networking world-wide with similar-minded reform groups. We are Church represents theologically sound the "voice of the people in the pews", as international studies of renowned religion sociologists have confirmed again and again.Internet: www.we-are-church.org
